Founded in 1904: Wentworth Institute of Technology has always prided itself on its hands on approach to learning. The institute offers career-focused bachelor degree programs in architecture, computer science, design, engineering, engineering technology and three management programs including project leadership, communication and technology . With almost 4,000 full-time students, it gives Wentworth faculty the ability to give individualized attention to each student. Our school’s learning model encompasses three specific pedagogical aprons: career-oriented classes with supportive frequent career fairs, hands-on labs and studios, and a coop program.
Wentworth SIFE

Started in 2003 becoming an official SIFE chapter in 2004, this team now includes 15 committed students with many service community outreach projects. Projects included volunteer income tax assistance or (VITA) and a multi-step financial literacy class open to the Roxbury community. In the spring of 2005 Wentworth SIFE competed in its first regional competition winning first runner-up and rookie of the year. All but three members of the original SIFE team graduated that summer and the three team members that kept their projects on-going and endeavored to bring Wentworth SIFE back to its former glory.

Business Advisory Board

Wentworth SIFE is pleased to announce the addition of three new companies to our business advisory board including Sam's Club, Mission Hill Main Streets and JCPenney. These three new board members are an excellent addition to our current board member: Wentworth's Center for Community Learning & Partnership. SIFE owes its Business Advisory Board a great amount of gratitude for their assistance this past year for presentation and project content management.
