Beatty Printing and Plotting
Color Tabloid Printers Three color tabloid printers are available in the 'open' lab -- next to the 'Help-Desk' -- on the third floor of Beatty Hall. Many of your assignments currently requiring plotting will now be able to be printed on these color tabloid printers (although some will require 'tiling'). In order to print to these new printers, you will have to setup a new "print queue" on your laptop. For those of you who are familiar with this, the print queue is \\ntwit04\08-318RICOH.
Please note that you MUST connect to this queue to be able to print to the (3) color tabloid printers correctly. If you would like to view more explicit, step-by-step directions, please visit:

Black and White Plotting A high-speed continuous tone, black and white plotter is in the 'open' lab -- next to the Help Desk -- on the third floor of Beatty Hall. In order to print to this printer, you will have to setup a new "print queue" on your laptop. For those of you who are familiar with this, the printer is \\ntwit04\08-318OCEPDF , for postscript printing, and \\ntwit04\08-318OCEHPG , for native HP-GL printing.

Color Plotting
An agreement has been negotiated with B. L. Makepeace to provide for students color plotting needs. The pricing will be at a significant discount over the the 'walk-in' rate.
Your work can be sent to B. L. Makepeace electronically at any time using their Electronic Work Order ("EWO") system. Your 'printed' work will be delivered back to Wentworth on Tuesday's and Friday's by 11 am where you will be able to pick it up at the OIT Help Desk on the third floor of Beatty Hall during regular operating hours. You must present your Wentworth student ID at time of pick up.
In order to use this service, B. L. Makepeace requires that you set up a pre-paid account with them. This is simple to do; 'how to' instructions will be provided. Go to http://wentworth.makepeace.com / for specific information regarding this process.
Any questions relating to the above should be sent, by e-mail, to: plotting@wit.edu
