This course provides the student with preparation for the demands of collegiate study in a technical environment Topics includes a systematic approach to textbook study, note-taking, outline skills as well as successful study habits, methods of test-taking, and how to access Institute resources.  Also introduced are several computer application software packages that will help the student with coursework and developing high quality lab reports
