What
if it happens to me?
·
Get to a safe place immediately.
·
There are many options for help and
information:

During
business hours, you can contact the Wentworth
Health Center, the Counseling
Center, Public
Safety, or Housing
and Residence Life.
·
After
business hours, or over the weekend, you can
contact Public Safety at 617-989-4444.

which may include calling a staff member to assist
you and mobilizing appropriate college resources.
You can also contact your RD during this
time for additional assistance.
·
If possible, do not
bathe, shower, brush your teeth, or go to the
bathroom. Do
not change your clothes.
If you already have, do not wash them.
Put them in a clean paper bag and bring
them with you to the hospital, if you choose to
go.
·
Get medical attention as soon as possible.
You can do this by visiting the Health
Center, or going to a local emergency room, such
as Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
Seek
counseling and other sources of support.
There are many options for support after an

safe with whomever you choose to confide in.
